You are probably eager to begin preparing for your college career as an MSU Eagle now that you've received your acceptance letter, but before you go flying on your own, come SOAR with us. Student Orientation, Advising & Registration, better known as SOAR, is a free, day-long program for new freshman and transfer students. During SOAR you will be able to register for your classes, have your picture taken for your EagleCard (that's your student I.D.), sign-up for your meal plan, and so much more. SOAR is a great way to meet other first-year students, as well as connect with current Eagles to learn about ways you can get involved on campus when you join us in the fall. Your SOAR session will also be the perfect time to get any questions you may have answered and to take another look around campus. It is during SOAR that you will meet with your academic advisors to begin mapping your courses. Whether you have decided on a major or not, there will be staff on-hand to assist you with all of your scheduling needs. Since there is a limited number of spaces available for each SOAR session, it is important that you register for the date of your choosing as early as possible.
